FINISH VENUE CONFIRMED

We are delighted to confirm that the finish venue for this year's run will be New Lodge Farm, Bulwick in north-east Northants. (Post Code: NN17 3DU).

New Lodge Farm is a family run business with Aberdeen Angus cattle and sheep production as its main focus. They host a number of classic car shows each year and also have a caravan/camp site, farm shop and cafeteria, all set in an attractive location in the heart of Rockingham Forest.

The owners are organising a hog roast especially for the entrants to enjoy prior to their return home at a cost of £4 per head.

LOCAL MAYOR TO FLAG CARS AWAY

The Worshipful Mayor of Wellingborough, Cllr. Malcolm Ward will be present at the start of this year's Rose of the Shires run and will be flagging cars off on the run.

For Malcolm, himself an owner of a number of classic cars, this will be one of his final Mayoral functions as his term in office will end the following week.

MG OWNERS' CLUB REPRESENTED AT THE RUN

The MG Owners' Club have confirmed their intention to have representatives at either the start or finish (or both) of the run  in 2019.

As an affiliated club, Northants MGOC has had long-standing and close ties with the national club and are pleased once again to welcome their support.

DRINKS STOP AT TOP RESTOTAION FIRM IN OUNDLE

High end classic car restoration firm, The Splined Hub Ltd. are opening their doors  so that entrants can stop off for a cuppa and a look at their workshops on their way through Oundle en route to the finish.
